Badges
Badges reward the habits and milestones behind great code. The Badges page has two sections: progressive badges you level up over time, and unique one-off achievements.
Progressive Badges
Progressive Badges have 5 levels each. Every badge shows a progress bar and a hint like N … away from next level, so you always know how close you are to leveling up.
Examples include:
- Bug Slayer
- Estas LOC-o!
- Patch Paladin
- Repo Ranger
- Serial Committer
- Too Committed
Unique Badges
Unique Badges are one-off achievements you unlock for special feats. Examples include:
- Code Cleanser
- Code Vampire
- Multiverse Coder
- The Fearless Deployer
- The Reaper
- Trophy Hoarder
There are also periodic badges such as Monthly Commit Overlord, Quarterly Champion, and Half-Year Hero.

Badge details
Clicking a badge opens a detail modal with a Congratulations! message and a description of the achievement. If it's your own profile, you can share the badge on Facebook or LinkedIn.
Newly earned badges pop up automatically, so you'll never miss a milestone.
